ARAMARK, a world leader in managed services, announced today that Karl M. von der Heyden, former Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of PepsiCo, will join ARAMARK's Board of Directors.

Over the course of his 38-year career, he has also served in various top executive positions with RJR Nabisco, H.J. Heinz, and Metallgesellschaft Corp., where he served as president and chief executive officer.

A native of Berlin, Germany, von der Heyden attended the Free University of Berlin. He graduated from Duke University in 1962 and obtained an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1964.
