ARAMARK Names von der Heyden to Board of Directors.

ARAMARK, a world leader in managed services, announced today that Karl M. von der Heyden, former Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of PepsiCo, will join ARAMARK's Board of Directors.

recently retired from PepsiCo in Feb. 2001 after returning to the company in September 1996. During his work with PepsiCo in the 1970s, he served as vice president and controller, chief financial officer of Pepsi-Cola Company and vice president of Manufacturing for the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Group.

Over the course of his 38-year career, he has also served in various top executive positions with RJR Nabisco, H.J. Heinz, and Metallgesellschaft Corp., where he served as president and chief executive officer.

A native of Berlin, Germany, von der Heyden attended the Free University of Berlin. He graduated from Duke University in 1962 and obtained an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1964.
