Entrepreneur Selected To Run German Rail.(Brief Article)

THE chairman of German Rail's (DB) board of management, Dr Johannes Ludewig, and the chairman of DB Travel & Tourism, Dr Axel Nawrocki, are both being dismissed. They are to be replaced by Mr Hartmut Mehdorn chairman of the printing machinery manufacturer Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, who will take over from Ludewig on January 1, and Dr Christoph Franz, who is currently DB's head of corporate development These two changes follow the recent replacement of Mr Peter Reinhardt, DB's board member for stations and property, by Mr Dieter Ullsperer, chairman of DB Station & Service.
