Plasti-Line names Executive Vice President.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 1995--James R. Martin, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Plasti-Line, Inc., (NASDAQ:SIGN) announced today that John D. Burke will join Plasti-Line as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer effective October 9, 1995.

In this newly-created

position Burke will provide strategic leadership for Plasti-Line's corporate-wide marketing and sales activities, with a special focus on developing and implementing a new growth-oriented marketing strategy.

Plasti-Line, Inc. provides a complete range of corporate identity products and services for the national automotive, fast food, petroleum, retail, and banking markets. The company has operations in East Tennessee, Northern Kentucky, and Southern California.

Burke has had significant general management, sales and marketing leadership positions at General Foods, Hershey, Nestle, and Young & Rubicam. "John Burke is strongly versed in point-of-purchase marketing as both a user and provider. His marketing vision, innovativeness and implementation skills have brought significant revenue and profit growth in a variety of situations. Burke and his wife, Gail, will relocate to Knoxville from Fairfield, Connecticut.
