Formed in 1991 and doubling its size every year, INS currently employs 132 professional and technical engineers throughout the United States. Founded by Donald McKinney, former principal of Silicon Graphics and Electronics for Imaging, INS also includes John Drew, formerly of Unisys Network Enable as vice president of operations; Kevin Laughlin as vice president of finance, formerly of Electronics for Imaging; and Elaine Hamilton, director of human resources, previously director of human resources at FMC.
