Joseph A. Crupi named president and CEO of TelogyNetworks.

GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1997--Telogy Networks Inc.(R), the leading developer of embedded software for voice over packet and wireless applications, announces the appointment of Joseph A. Crupi as president and CEO.

Crupi has served Telogy Networks as executive vice

president and chief operating officer since February, 1996. Former President, CEO, and Founder Thomas H. Scholl was named vice chairman of the board of directors.

While EVP and COO of Telogy Networks, Crupi championed the development of the Golden Gateway product line and expanded Telogy's marketing and sales team. Prior to joining Telogy, Crupi worked at AT&T from 1978 through January 1996. After joining AT&T in 1978 as Member of Technical Staff, Crupi was ultimately promoted to the position of vice president of Global Business Multimedia Services for AT&T Business Communication Services.

During his tenure at AT&T, Crupi had a wide variety of managerial responsibilities, including operational marketing, sales, product development, engineering and manufacturing. Crupi received a Master of Science degree in Management as an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow at the Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York.
