SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1997--Live Picture Corp., the leading provider of products and services for imaging on the Net, today named Mark Woodward as vice president of worldwide sales.

Mr. Woodward will develop and lead an aggressive worldwide sales strategy

that supports the company's move into client/server software and authoring tools for creating, managing, and interacting with images on the Internet and global networks. Mr. Woodward will help to quickly position Live Picture as the industry standard in network imaging technology and substantially grow the company's revenues.

Mr. Woodward reports directly to Live Picture's president and CEO, Kathleen Mitchell, and will be responsible for Live Picture's worldwide sales, including Japan, Europe, and the United States. Formerly at McAfee Associates as vice president of North American sales and services, Woodward will create and support new channel and OEM partnerships, grow the direct sales organization, manage distributors, and build strategic relationships with the industry's leading server companies.

Mr. Woodward was a key player in McAfee's success as the second fastest growing software company in the world, and the most profitable public software company in the world with 42% pre-tax margins. In seven quarters, Mr. Woodward grew McAfee's sales force from 53 people to over 300. In that same period, quarterly sales increased by nearly 400% to over $65M. Mr. Woodward brings twelve years of sales experience to his new role. Before joining McAfee, he held executive roles at Computer Associates, Legent Corporation, Intersolv Inc., and Oracle.
