Robert E. Thompson has been named vice president/controller for Enesco Corporation, a leader in the gift and collectibles industry.
In his new position, Thompson will oversee all financial reporting activities for Enesco's U. S.

Thompson joins Enesco with more than 25 years of accounting, financial planning, information systems, risk management and finance experience. Most recently, he was vice president/finance for USN Communications. He previously held senior finance management positions with Terra Industries and Ameritech Corporation and served as an audit manager with Deloitte and Touche. A certified public accountant, Thompson holds a masters of business administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in accountancy from Northern Illinois University.
