Joe A. Hastey has been named the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller, effective July 1, 1999.
Hastey's appointment follows on the heels of the promotion of Steven B. Blake, ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller's current
Hastey has been with the organization since 1972. Currently, he serves as Chief Operating Officer for the firm, with overall responsibility for seven regions within the U.S. Prior to that, Hastey held positions on the firm's operations board. He was COO and President for Piedmont Olsen Hensley, an infrastructure engineering firm acquired by ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller in 1996. Prior to joining Piedmont Olsen Hensley, Hastey was President and CEO of Hensley Schmidt, a transportation and general civil engineering firm.
