Zahir Zubair has been appointed Chief Technology Officer, and will be responsible for all technology-related strategy, planning and development. Ted Jablonski, Vice President of e-Service Development, has been promoted to Vice President Marketing and e-Service and will continue to establish Circles as the leader in the personal services industry. Lisa Baffi joins Circles as Vice President of Training and Organizational Development, with responsibilities for ensuring organizational strength and success through development and implementation of cutting-edge training practices and processes.

"These management additions positions Circles extremely well to maintain our leadership position in the personal services industry," said Circles' CEO Janet Kraus. "The strength of our training, technology and unique service offerings will allow us to scale rapidly, offer web and wireless services unavailable anywhere else, while continuing to provide the high quality of service our customers have grown to expect."

Zubair joins Circles as the Chief Technology Officer. Zahir will spearhead efforts to implement technologies that maximize the integration of both "high touch" and "high tech" capabilities into Circles existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and infrastructure. Zahir joins Circles from Universal Music where he was the Director of Technology in CA and London, UK. In that role, he managed technology teams and a $300M budget dedicated to providing application and web-based technologies in both the music and film businesses. Prior to Universal, Zahir had hands-on product management and strategic planning experience at Mitchell International. Prior to Mitchell, he was Product Manager at PEI where he managed the technology for the E911 industry using Windows NT-based call management solutions. Zubair holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.

Ted Jablonski joined Circles in January, 2000 as VP e-Service Development. In his role as VP e-Service Development, he has successfully built a product development team of analysts for Circles commerce and service partnerships, created a roster of partnerships for the delivery of personal services, developed a direct access web model for their new website, and researched key technologies for implementation in current and future phases of Circles technology, including wireless access to the Circles website. Based on his strategic vision and accomplishments at Circles, Ted Jablonski has recently been promoted to Vice President of e-Service Development and Marketing. He joined Circles from Standard & Poors, the financial information company, where he was the Director of Product Management and Site Design. In this role, he was the driving force behind the development and implementation of Personalwealth.com, the company's first consumer-oriented personal financial management site. Prior to this, he worked in a variety of Product Development and Marketing roles at Merrill Lynch and at MasterCard International, where he was the VP of Marketing for Gold MasterCard. He holds an MBA from New York University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. degree from Temple University.

Baffi joins Circles impressive existing management team as the vice president of Training and Organizational Development. Prior to joining Circles, Baffi served as the Principal and Founder of Baffi Development Group, where she assisted companies in harnessing their company-wide potential by focusing on leadership development, organizational planning, executive coaching and team performance. Before launching her consulting firm, Baffi was Director of Training and Organizational Development at Hallmark Healthcare System.
