The Dewberry Companies are pleased to announce that John P. Fowler II, PE, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

In this position, Mr. Fowler will serve on a three person executive committee with

Sid Dewberry and Barry Dewberry that oversees operations of all The Dewberry Companies. The Dewberry Companies are comprised of: Dewberry & Davis LLC; Dewberry & Davis, Inc.; Dewberry Design Group Incorporated; Dewberry International, Inc.; Goodkind & O'Dea, Inc.; Anderson-Nichols & Company, Inc.; and TOLK, Inc. In Mr. Fowler's new position, his initial charge is to maximize the resources of the entire organization and build upon its strengths to meet the growing needs of our clients.

Mr. Fowler has been with the company for 17 years. Most recently he held the positions of Managing Principal for Transportation and Structures of Dewberry & Davis LLC, and President of Goodkind & O'Dea, Inc. Mr. Fowler received a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas in 1959. He is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
