Marco’s Pizza Appoints New Vice President

Toledo, Ohio-based Marco’s Pizza hired P. David Black as executive vice president in charge of operations, training and other store-level activities. Black joins Marco’s from Domino’s Pizza where he served as president from 1989 to 1991.

Black rose through the ranks at Domino’s,

initially joining the corporate office in 1976. Two years later, he was promoted to regional vice president for the chain’s Southeast region. The company promoted him to vice president of operations in 1981 and in 1989 he became president and chief operating officer. Since then, Black has served as a Domino’s franchisee in North Carolina.
