iVillage Veteran Kellie Gould Promoted to Senior Vice President, Programming; Responsibility...

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2001

iVillage Inc. (Nasdaq: IVIL), operator of the iVillage Network, which includes iVillage.com, Lamaze Publishing and the Newborn Channel, today announced the promotion of Kellie Gould to Senior Vice President, Programming

from Vice President.

Ms. Gould has responsibility for overseeing the 49-person programming team, as well as the editorial content and direction and new channel development efforts of iVillage.com. She reports to Steven A. Elkes, Executive Vice President, Operations and Business Affairs.

Ms. Gould joined iVillage in 1996 and served as the Managing Editor of Parent Soup where she planned, coordinated and managed the implementation of the site's programming. In 1998 she was promoted to Editorial Director for iVillage.com and a year later was named Vice President, Programming.

Prior to joining iVillage, Ms. Gould was a Features Associate at VOGUE magazine where she edited contributors' notes and assigned staff writers. She also was responsible for editing VOGUE's "Talking Back" and "Horoscope" sections. Previously, she was a reporter for Adweek Magazines including Adweek, Brandweek and Mediaweek.

Ms. Gould graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in Journalism and English Literature.
