Former Sales Executive for Forbes, CFO Publishing, National Geographic and NJN Broadcasting Joins Solar Engineering/Water Management Firm
Debra J. Grady has been designated Director of Marketing for WorldWater
Ms. Grady's background includes sales and marketing positions with Forbes, where she was Director of Conference Sales, CFO Publishing (Group Advertising Director), National Geographic (Eastern Manager) and Harvard Magazine (Advertising Director). Most recently she was senior marketing representative for NJN, the PBS/NPR broadcast network in New Jersey. Early in her career she was a reporter for two New England newspapers.
After attending Wellesley College, she graduated from the University of Notre Dame with Magna Cum Laude honors in English. Ms. Grady also did graduate course work in finance and marketing at Columbia University Business School.
In her position at WorldWater, she will manage all international and domestic corporate marketing activities, including advertising, promotion and public relations, and coordinate the marketing activities of the sales staff.
WorldWater is a solar engineering and water management company which has developed the patented technology (AquaMax(TM)) to power pumps and motors up to 600 HP by solar alone or in hybrid combination with the electric grid. The New Jersey company has offices and sales activities in the US, particularly California, where it has made recent sales in the agriculture, refrigeration and water utility markets. Internationally, the company is operating in the Philippines, where it is working with that government's Department of Agriculture developing a national irrigation program utilizing the AquaMax(TM) pumping systems, and with Winrock International, implementing water and solar power studies and projects in Mindanao.
