Flamenco Networks Names New President and CEO.

Ralph Calistri Brings More Than 20 Years of Software and Infrastructure Experience to Rapidly Growing Web Services Management Company

Flamenco Networks, a leading provider of Web Services Management (WSM)

solutions announced today that Ralph Calistri has joined the company as president and chief executive officer. Founder Dave Spicer, who had served as CEO, will now focus his full attention on the role of chief technology officer. James Davis, former president and COO has been appointed chairman.

Calistri comes to Flamenco with more than 20 years experience in software and Internet infrastructure companies, has led two successful start-ups, and is a veteran of some of the world's most well-known technology companies including Nortel Networks, Bay Networks, Digital Equipment Corporation and Xerox. He will provide strategic direction and manage Flamenco's day-to-day operations while being responsible for overall company growth.

Calistri most recently served as CEO of Remoteability, Inc. and prior to that, as CEO of PixStream Video Networking where he managed PixStream's growth and subsequent acquisition by networking giant, Cisco Systems. Calistri's sales, management and marketing skills have been honed by years of successful experience with Nortel Networks where he served as vice president and general manager of the Americas and as vice president of operations for Bay Networks.

Calistri earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with minors in Chemistry and Biology from Richmond College, earned his masters in Psychology at Long Island University and has completed two years of a Ph.D in Psychology at Steven's Institute.
