BOISE, Idaho -- SCP Global Technologies (SCP), a leading supplier of semiconductor capital equipment, announced the appointment of Don Burkman as the new executive vice president of worldwide sales, marketing & strategy. Mr. Burkman's broad range of experience spans over 30 years in the semiconductor

industry and includes process engineering, product development, strategic planning and deployment as well as sales and marketing.

Prior to rejoining the SCP team, Mr. Burkman was employed by Tokyo Electron, Unit Instruments, FSI and AT&T. He spent four years at SCP from 1995 through 1998 as the vice president of business development where he managed strategic planning, new business development and worldwide sales and marketing.

Mr. Burkman earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Baker University, an M.S. in Industrial Safety from Central Missouri State University, and an M.B.A. and a Masters in International Management from the University of St. Thomas. He has also published over 75 technical reports on various cleaning, etch and development processes used commonly throughout the semiconductor industry.
