New Focus on Accelerating Growth after SurfRay's Acquisition of Mondosoft
ATLANTA & COPENHAGEN, Denmark -- SurfRay/Mondosoft, a leading provider of enterprise search and information access technologies, today announced the appointment of Steffen Saxil as Chief Executive Officer. SurfRay founder Martin G. Veise, formerly serving as CEO, was named Chairman of the Board.
The recent merger of SurfRay and Mondosoft brings under one roof a comprehensive array of enterprise search systems available on virtually every content and technology platform. The combined company's product line includes SurfRay's Speed Index search and retrieval system, the MondoSearch site search suite, Mondosoft BehaviorTracking information analytics software, and Ontolica Search for SharePoint, for enhanced search performance and functionality.
Saxil brings executive experience and a successful track record in global marketing and management to his new role as CEO of the combined company. In addition to ensuring a smooth transition for the company's personnel, products and customers post-merger and implementing a new corporate branding strategy, Saxil's immediate charter includes development of a skilled management team and a worldwide customer delivery organization, through offices in Atlanta, Copenhagen, San Francisco, Stockholm and Vienna. In his role as board chairman, Veise will continue to work on overall product vision and further international expansion for the company.
