WASHINGTON -- XVionics, the only global technology company with extensive experience in providing end-to-end software solutions for complex resource management in intense military aviation environments, announced today that Gennaro Colabatistto has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining XVionics, Mr. Colabatistto held leadership roles at several technology companies. He served as President of Space Imaging Solutions; as President and CEO of Spot Image Corporation; and as a Vice President at Veridian/Pacific-Sierra Research Corporation. From 1982 to 1991 Mr. Colabatistto served in the United States Marine Corps. His tours include service as an Infantry Officer and as a C4I Systems Officer. He also served as the principal advisor for intelligence information systems, and acted as the service representative for space-based reconnaissance during Desert Storm. Mr. Colabatistto received a BS in aerospace engineering and a MS in systems management from the University of Southern California, and a MS in electrical engineering from George Washington University.
