Macon, Ga., Economic Development Board Names New CEO.

Aug. 22--MACON, Ga.--NewTown Macon's executive board has promoted Mike Ford to chief executive officer from chief financial officer.

Conie Mac Darnell will remain president of the nonprofit organization, and both Ford and Darnell will report directly to the executive board.

Ford, who had reported to Darnell, will assume some of Darnell's former responsibilities.
