COLMECS's new CTE conical twin screw rubber extruder is said to be particularly efficient in reducing batch temperature because of the high thermal exchange across the surfaces of the screws, hopper and extruder section and its relatively low (average 20 RPM) rotational speed. It can be used as a dump extruder, for straining and for the production of pellets.
