Yes, the Palm Springs area certainly is a setting famous for exclusive shops. But, those headed for the IFA convention might want to consider picking up something new for the business.

During the convention, the Exhibit Hall is expected to once again break records in attracting some of the primary suppliers of products and services to the franchising sector. What could make a better match than representatives of the most recognized brands in the same room with vendors who can supply the needs new of novice or maturing franchises?

More than 100 exhibitors have signed up to give franchisors a choice of products and services that can improve their operations. The array of resources franchisors can choose include advertising, awards, financing services, marketing, Internet communications, personnel and recruitment management, consulting services and more. The Exhibit Hall will have convenient hours over two days during the convention, offering participants ample time to engage in meaningful discussion.

It's not all work, either. To the newcomer, the Exhibit Hall might represent the sights and sounds of a festival. Colleagues can gather to get acquainted, share business updates and strategies, play games sponsored by the vendors or win door prices. There will be a drawing each hour for $1,000.

Be sure to make plans now to attend the 46th annual convention at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Exercise your fingers so you'll be a nimble note taker during the educational sessions, but remember to bring along your sense of adventure because you'll need it to successfully navigate the Exhibit Hall floor around the crowd.
