"10 Ways to Make It Great" , "The Art of Self Promotion" and "Your First Triathlon"

 Phil Gerbyshak sent me a copy of his book, "10 Ways to Make it Great" and I wanted to note it for Friday's wrapup of fun books to read. My second pick for Friday wrap-up of books is Ilise Benun's "The Art of Self Promotion". This book is a gem filled with ton of valuable and actionable insight for folks who need a little or a bit more of a nudge to promote themselves. By the way, Ilise is a fantastic marketing mentor!

The third pick is "Your First Triathlon" by Joe Friel." Why???? Because in business, we all often forget that there is a whole world out there beyond our desk and our keyboard. I've noticed I'm less inclined to exercise so I've registered for a mini-triathlon in Austin, TX on October 6th and am using this book to train with. (The 6th is my birthday too - so double inspiration!) I encourage you to step away from your keyboard, go outside and exercise! Set a goal and attain it.
