Blog On: "Blog On"
Web logs enable anybody with an opinion to be heard
By MICHELLE MEGNA
"In the real world, Liz Maryland Hiraldo and Mike Everett-Lane look like an unlikely duo. Hiraldo is a Web-design doyenne, a single, tattooed and pierced woman of the digital culture, a New Yorker from the South Bronx who has close friends she communicates with only through Instant Messaging. Everett-Lane is a father, a husband and Harvard graduate who works for a nonprofit and is more interested in politics and social policy than pixels. But mutual admiration brought them together to form a partnership in the blogosphere. With a third co-creator, Matt Johnson, they formed NYCbloggers.com, a map of the city that shows where the bloggers are, organized by subway stop."
- Blogs aren't just for business. In fact the majority of blogs have nothing to do with business. This will change over the next few years in my belief but the personal blogs will always be there because they are their owner's babies. Go ahead, Blog for fun too. -ed.
