Ahuja was so convinced about the efficacy of his new model that he quit his job as president of Morristown's Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore) to experiment with his own idea. He found partners who were already toying with similar concepts, and started a company that will put money and expertise behind fledgling entrepreneurs in the telecommunications industry. The company, originally named Redwood Communications Group, is now Comstellar Technologies. It is headquartered in Florham Park, and has offices in Los Altos, California and Denver, Colorado.
