Definitions for: cash management bill
cash management bill

short-term debt instrument normally issued with maturity up to 50 days by the U.S. Treasury as an alternative to Treasury notes or Treasury bills. Cash management bills are sold to money market investors in minimum denominations of $1 million. These bills are issued to cover temporary cash shortages, for example, just before a major tax collection date, such as April 15 or June 15.
