Sylvia Dion

Sylvia F. Dion, a CPA, with a Masters in Taxation, brings more than seventeen years of broad-based business tax experience to the AllBusiness blogger’s network. Prior to launching her own tax consulting practice, Sylvia served as an executive in the tax practices of both a “Big-4” and a national accounting firm.

She has also spent many years working in the tax departments of several corporations, and has dealt first-hand with the extensive tax issues faced by companies. Currently, she specializes in providing tax consulting services to businesses of all sizes, and concentrates on advising clients in the area of State & Local Tax.

In addition to presenting to tax executive and industry groups, her articles on State & Local Tax issues have been published in The Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives, The Multistate Tax Report, and The Journal of State Taxation. She is also the creator, author, and publisher of The State and Local Tax “Buzz” blog.
