Rachel Blue
Rachel Blue received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1984 from the University of Texas, where she graduated magna cum laude, and her law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1988.
Ms. Blue is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Oklahoma, and her practice is concentrated on trademark, copyright, franchise and unfair competition issues. A former Trademark Examining Attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Washington, D.C., Ms. Blue has twice served as President of the Oklahoma Bar Association's Intellectual Property Section, and is a past president of the University of Tulsa College of Law Alumni Association. She is a member of the Tulsa County Bar Association, the Oklahoma and Missouri Bar Associations, the American Bar Association's Intellectual Property and Forum on Franchising Sections, and the International Trademark Association. She serves as an advisor and board member with several entrepreneurial, arts, and civic organizations, including Tulsa Arts Coalition, OSU-Okmulgee's Innovation & Incubation Entrepreneurial Center, Tulsa Street School, and the University of Tulsa College of Law.
Ms. Blue frequently lectures on intellectual property topics and regularly contributes articles on intellectual property in the workplace to the Oklahoma Employment Law Letter and The Business Owner. She has been selected each year since 2005 for The Best Lawyers in America, was selected as one of the top 25 Women Lawyers in Oklahoma by Oklahoma Magazine, and is listed in "Who's Who Legal USA" for her expertise in intellectual property. She has also been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers, but rarely wears her cape.
