Alison A. Deans has joined Lehman Brothers as managing director of research for the private client group. Deans was recognized by Institutional Investor Magazine as a seven-time All-Star analyst for her coverage of the financial services sector while she was with Smith Barney. Most recently, she was chief financial officer of commercial banking at Bank One.

At Lehman, Deans will oversee services for individual investors including investment planning, asset allocation, money manager selection and distribution of research.
