Offer will help Fidelity customers with online tax preparation

and filing during busy tax season

Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ: INTU) today announced that Fidelity Investments(R) will offer Quicken(R) TurboTax(R) for the Web(sm), the leading

online tax preparation and filing service, to its customers through Powerstreet(sm), online trading @ fidelity.com. Powerstreet - Fidelity's new, enhanced online investing site - provides investors with a comprehensive arsenal of new and expanded financial planning and trading tools, technology and resources in one, integrated, easy-to-access location via the web.

"We are excited to offer Fidelity customers the opportunity to prepare and file their taxes online with TurboTax for the Web. Fidelity's offering will include free federal and state tax preparation and electronic filing for the fastest refunds. TurboTax for the Web, which conveniently brings all the simplicity and expertise of the No. 1-selling TurboTax program to the Web, will be available in mid-January 2000. Last year, a quarter of a million taxpayers prepared their tax return using TurboTax for the Web, and all tax filers will again be able to access the service this year at www.turbotax.com.
