FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 1999--

BCT International, Inc. (Nasdaq: "BCTI"), which through its paper products division and franchises operates the world's largest wholesale printing chain, today announced that J. Peter Posk has joined the Company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Posk was most recently a Vice President with Filterfresh, a company which through its franchises supplies coffee systems and related products to offices, hotels, auto dealerships, medical facilities and supermarkets. He joined Filterfresh, which is based in Westwood, MA, in May 1994, and at the time he left the company in July 1999 was responsible for marketing, sales, MIS, operations and training. During Mr. Posk's tenure with Filterfresh, the company's franchised system's annual sales rose from $26 million to over $70 million.

Prior to joining Filterfresh, Mr. Posk held a number of management positions with PIP Printing (headquartered in Agoura Hills, CA) from 1989 until May 1994. He joined PIP as a Senior Financial Analyst and was successively promoted to Manager of New Store Operations, Director of Purchasing, and Director of Operations.
