Business & Investment Editors
TheStreet.com Inc., a leading multimedia provider of financial commentary, analysis and news, announced today that Jeff Cooper has joined the Company as a RealMoney columnist.
Cooper has been working on Wall Street for more than twenty years
"As a highly successful trader and top-selling investment author, Jeff's insight on the market has been considered by many among the best on Wall Street," said David Morrow, Editor-in-Chief of TheStreet.com. "For more than twenty years, traders have looked to Jeff for time-tested, money-making techniques that have consistently brought them positive results. His deep track record makes him a valuable addition to our current lineup of financial analysts and commentators. This hire reinforces our effort to make RealMoney a site where readers can access highly opinionated, unbiased, trustworthy financial analysis and commentary from financial professionals."
Cooper pens a daily column on RealMoney, the Company's premium, subscription-based site, focusing on turning points in the market, price action, the psychological underpinnings of the market, and day-by-day behavior. In addition, Cooper will be collaborating with TheStreet.com to create a unique, proprietary product for active market participants.
Cooper's financial markets experience started in 1981 at Drexel Burnham. During this time, he discovered a love and fascination for the financial markets and the forces that move prices. He started trading for his own account in 1983 and left to exclusively trade the markets in 1986. Cooper has been a trader and author ever since, working out of his home in Malibu, California.
