Fitch Ratings Wthdrs Rtgs On Enterprise Rent-A-Car Co. & Sub.

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 2002

Fitch Ratings is withdrawing its 'A-' senior debt and 'F2' commercial paper ratings for Enterprise Rent-A-Car Co. (Enterprise) and its subsidiary, ERAC USA Finance Co. (ERAC). The ratings are being withdrawn at the request

of Enterprise's management. Fitch will not perform any ongoing surveillance of Enterprise. The Rating Outlook was Positive prior to this action.

Based in St. Louis, MO, Enterprise is the largest car rental company in the U.S. based on fleet size and locations. Additionally, the company is also a large vehicle fleet lessor to U.S. companies. Enterprise is privately owned and controlled by the Taylor family.
