Net One Systems Invests $1.6 Million in First Virtual Communications, Inc.

First Virtual Communications (Nasdaq: FVCX), a premier provider of rich media web conferencing and collaboration solutions, today announced that Net One Systems, the Company's exclusive distributor in Japan, has invested $1.6 million in the Company.
The investment agreement between the parties resulted in the issuance to Net One of 642,921 shares of the Company's common stock at $2.45 per share and the return by Net One to the Company of $1.6 million of products previously purchased. The Company had deferred recognition of the revenues associated with the sale of those products, recording the value as Deferred Revenue in the current liabilities section of the balance sheet.
This transaction did not provide additional cash to the Company, but it did result in a net reduction in liabilities and a net increase in Stockholders Equity for First Virtual.
