A man invested $2,000 in CDs and was disappointed when after taxes he had gained $42 in two years. As a homesteader, he felt he could take the $2,000 and earn more. He decided to invest in trees for a tree farm, and with his veterinarian wife, he also began to successfully breed dogs.
