The Financial Services Reform Act will radically change the nature and quality of advice in the banking industry, while producing onerous training requirements. Fortunately, the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance has the training solution CELIA, NOW A LAWYER, RECALLS her days as a suburban bank teller in the 1980s when she would freely dispense advice to customers on the merits of investing in her bank's range of debentures.
