Jones Lang LaSalle Names New Managing Director forCapital Markets Group in Western U.S.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 28, 2000

Jones Lang LaSalle, a leading real estate services and investment firm, has named Thomas G. Miller managing director of Capital Markets responsible for the western United States.

Miller,

who is based in the Los Angeles office, has 25 years' experience in real estate finance, asset acquisitions and dispositions in U.S. and international markets.

Miller has completed several billion dollars of capital transactions across a variety of commercial property types, including office, retail, hotel and high-rise residential. He recently returned from serving for a year as the managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle in Japan, overseeing all aspects of the firm's activities in that complex real estate market.

Since joining the firm in 1984, Miller has worked in several different areas, including Investment Sales and Finance, Corporate Advisory Services and Investment Management Services.

Over the years, Miller has represented some of the world's top corporations, including Lucent Technologies, Time Warner, Honda Motor Co., Gucci, The Industrial Bank of Japan and Bank of America. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Miller worked for Merrill Lynch in the Institutional Investment Group.

Miller graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He also attended the University of California, Los Angeles.

He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Center, IDRC and the Japan America Society. He is a licensed California real estate broker. He resides with his family in Palos Verdes, Calif.
