D.A. Davidson & Co.'s research department has been ranked 36th out of over 200 firms surveyed in the Wall Street Journal's annual Best on the Street analyst ratings.
That means that the firm's research
John Rogers, CFA, Director of Research, received the No. 1 rating nationally for his stock picking in the machinery industry. Rogers also was ranked among the top five analysts for his earnings forecasting in machinery.
Bill Frerichs, Senior Research Analyst and Technology Team Leader, was among the top three analysts in stock picking for the software industry. That ranking is out of 51 analysts who qualified in that area.
