Leading UK Stock Brokerage Service to Expand Financial Offerings and Improve Customer Service with Intervoice Speech Applications

DALLAS -- Intervoice, Inc. announced today that leading United Kingdom brokerage firm, Stocktrade, has selected the Intervoice Voice Portal (IVP) speech platform

to improve customer service and expand financial offerings to its customers throughout the UK. Stocktrade offers a wide range of financial services and products to a broad set of clients including individuals, institutions, quoted companies, fund managers, financial advisors and banks. In order to stay competitive in a market scrutinized for excellent and timely customer service, Stocktrade looked to Intervoice for the right solution. The purchase order was received during the Company's fiscal quarter that ended on August 31, 2007, and was included in the solutions backlog previously reported for the quarter.

"Intervoice took the time to truly understand our business needs, and translated those needs into the proposed Voice Portal solution," said Robert Irving, divisional director, Stocktrade. "Our call center handles a broad array of calls, from customer support to transaction queries. The Edinburgh call center handles an average of 1,000 calls per day which equates to 20,000 calls per month. We needed a solution that we could easily transition to from our current voice automation system, and would also be able to handle this volume quickly and accurately. Intervoice came out on top both in terms of superior technology and support services."

IVP replaces Stocktrade's previous voice automation solution with a highly scaleable and reliable platform that will grow with the company, support the addition of future applications and address the need for a more humanistic IVR. IVP is the leading software-based technology platform for the development, delivery, and management of speech self-service applications. Based on industry standards and designed to fit within an organization's services-oriented architecture, IVP makes it possible for innovative customer self-service applications to be as effective, or more effective, than interacting with a live agent. Additionally for increased customer satisfaction and loyalty, IVP leverages a rules-based engine to respond to each individual based on their preferences and experiences gleaned from their usage of speech applications in the past.

"For companies driven by customer service like Stocktrade, it is critical to offer customers cost-effective, intuitive ways to complete self-service transactions, as well as the ability to quickly connect to the most appropriate live agent based on their needs," said Frank Sherlock, Managing Director of Intervoice Ltd. "We are very pleased to provide a voice portal solution to Stocktrade that will help them provide innovative and differentiated self-service to their customers."

A key factor in the decision to implement the Intervoice Voice Portal solution was Intervoice's ability to successfully address Stocktrade's need for 24x7 support with Intervoice's RealCare[R]. Intervoice customer support through RealCare[R] provides outstanding responsiveness to technical questions, plus proactive and preventative services that ultimately prevent costly system and service downtime. Intervoice offers a wide selection of support levels that are unparalleled in the industry, for the full suite of Intervoice voice automation products.
