Market Experts Offer Strategies to Deal With Natural Gas Futures Prices, NGI Reports.

NEW YORK -- Where's the market going? And what can you do about it? Three noted experts will be taking time off from active natural gas futures trading to answer these questions in a repeat June 22-23, 2005 of their very popular futures workshop at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).

The opportunity to participate in a simulated trading session and to have an on-site view of the natural gas futures trading ring Thursday morning when storage numbers are announced are features of the workshop, which is hosted by Intelligence Press Inc., publisher of Natural Gas Intelligence (NGI).

Brokers Tom Saal, Edward Kennedy and Nymex local floor trader Sandy "Trot" Goldfarb will share their trading knowledge and experience in this two-day workshop.

With more than 70 years of combined experience in natural gas futures trading and hedging, these three will go beyond the usual hedging and risk management tutorials to reveal real-world techniques for identifying price trends and market timing, including the use of both fundamental and technical market indicators.

"This workshop is designed to get the most out of your hedging program," remarked Tom Saal of Commercial Brokerage Corp. "Trading natural gas futures is what we do every day."

If you're a buyer or a seller of natural gas, working to manage price risk for your company, you can benefit from the strategies and "trading tools" used by these experts.

Past attendees have reflected a broad section of the industry, including industrial and commercial end-use procurement managers, utility and LDC buyers, producers, marketers, futures traders, risk managers, analysts, economists, and finance and accounting personnel.

"This is a roll-up-your-sleeves workshop featuring a look at the tools utilized by natural gas trading experts to anticipate the size and direction of the next price move," added Dexter Steis, Executive Publisher of Natural Gas Intelligence. "This course focuses on concrete and timely examples of when and why to buy or sell natural gas futures and options."

The entire two-day workshop is held on the 12th floor of the Exchange building, overlooking the Hudson River and Statue of Liberty.

Highlights of the Workshop include:

--The chance to compete against other workshop participants and local traders to execute mock trading orders in a simulated trading session on the NYMEX trading floor

--The opportunity to view the NYMEX trading pit Thursday morning when EIA storage data is released

--A welcome to the Exchange, breakfast and tour of the NYMEX museum

--An evening reception where attendees, local traders and presenters discuss the market in an informal atmosphere
