Video-Driven Mortgage Lending Kiosk MakesDebut.

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 1997--

Dyad Corporation uses interactive video to bring lending

to the point of sale

Dyad Corporation, Inc. today announced at the MBA Technology in Mortgage Banking Conference the introduction of MoneyPro(TM),

a new generation of interactive video, mortgage lending kiosks.

The MoneyPro kiosks in conjunction with on-line mortgage experts at Dyad's service center, give borrowers point of sale access to mortgage rates, information and lending decisions.

The kiosks were designed as convenience-based, cost effective mortgage origination and information centers for borrowers. Users can easily navigate through the system at their own speed, accessing information on mortgage procedures, products, rates, appraisals, receive on-line help, and get mortgage approval.

MoneyPro kiosks are purchased or leased by financial institutions and are strategically placed in high traffic lending areas such as bank and credit union branches; select employee group (SEG) office locations; and Realtor(R) and builder offices.

MoneyPro was designed with an open-system architecture allowing financial institutions to run the kiosks on their networks. Currently, the system has automated underwriting capabilities through Freddie Mac's Loan Prospector(R) and Fannie Mae's Desktop Underwriter(R). MoneyPro is also compatible with a full spectrum of Windows 95(TM) mortgage origination software applications.

This alternative loan delivery system is designed to video conference a mortgage expert to the point of sale for producing on-line applications and all required loan documentation. Each kiosk features full compliance loan documentation; credit bureau interfaces with TRW, Transunion and Equifax; a central processing unit (CPU); an advanced video conferencing system; a touch screen keyboard; a magnetic card stripe reader for major credit cards for purchasing appraisal and underwriting fees and credit reports; a laser printer; an electronic signature pad; an interactive speaker system; a hand-held telephone for privacy; and on-line, real-time connectivity to Dyad Corporation's Ft. Myers, Florida-based service center.

The kiosk enables applicants to scan important financial records such as W2 forms, bank statements, and pay stubs. Once scanned, the video conferenced mortgage expert guides the information into a loan application and submits it for underwriting approval.

Applicants can perform "what if" scenarios easily without human intervention using MoneyPro. In addition, the kiosk processes and prints all loan documentation at the point of sale. Using a scanner, the applicant can sign and scan appropriate forms.

C. Michael Bowers, president & CEO of Dyad Corporation, said "MoneyPro's advanced video conferencing capabilities take mortgage lending to an entirely new level by emulating a loan officer at the kiosk location. Not only does it bring mortgage experts to remote locations, it enables financial institutions to tap into the mortgage industry at a low cost. Everything from prequalification to being approved for a loan can be completed in under twenty minutes."

MoneyPro kiosks are available in multiple designs including stand alone and desktop versions. Each kiosk can be used independently or with a loan officer, financial consultant, or other personal assistant.

Bowers continues, "This technology gives financial institutions looking to break into the mortgage industry an affordable and simple solution. Dyad provides the technology and leases the kiosks so financial institutions can continue to concentrate on their core business. Plus, our state of the art service center provides third party originating and processing that helps generate additional revenue while offering a value-added customer or member service."

Dyad Corporation, an affiliate of InterCept Holdings Company, provides kiosk-based lending solutions for the financial industry. The company's Automated Lending Machine (ALM) enables borrowers to generate unsecured consumer loans ranging from $500 to $15,000 and receive a fully encoded check for the loan amount featuring the applicant's photo. MoneyPro uses advanced video conferencing to bring mortgage rates, information, and lending decisions to the point of sale. Both kiosks are strategically placed in high traffic retail and mortgage lending environments.
