The Minnesota office adds a unique loan placement program to Kirkpatrick Pettis' offerings, enabling its bank clients to strengthen customer relationships, reduce administration costs and increase efficiencies. Gary Nelson, senior vice president and manager of the Loan Placement Program, will oversee the office, located at 601 Carlson Parkway, Suite 1275, in Minnetonka.

Gary Nelson has joined Kirkpatrick Pettis after working with Northland Securities in Minneapolis. He has nearly 30 years of expertise in the financial services industry, including underwriting and placement of commercial financings, loan servicing and credit administration, and oversight of bank and savings and loan assets involving multi-billion dollar portfolios.

Amber Nelson is also joining the Minnetonka office as loan officer and has extensive experience in the financial services industry.

Kirkpatrick Pettis' Loan Placement Program provides bank clients with improved capital distribution, extended credit access for clients, increased credit diversification of loans and improved portfolio yield. Banks receive notification of available commercial loan participation opportunities and upon request, are provided with in-depth analysis and background of the credit to assist in selecting the loan participations and amounts to fit their needs.

Kirkpatrick Pettis also provides loan participation products involving commercial real estate, credit facilities, corporate debt, equipment, Native American economic development, and gaming.
