Milwaukee Investment Firm Employees to Buy Out Company.

Apr. 21--Robert W. Baird employees, led by top executive Paul E. Purcell, will buy the remainder of their firm from long-time majority owner Northwestern Mutual Insurance Co., the two companies said Wednesday morning.

Following the transaction, Baird will be an independent company for the first time in 22 years.
