Ameritrust's clock ticking

Ameritrust Corp. watchers may know who's going to buy the bank holding company sometime this quarter, analysts say.

Kemper Securities Group analyst Henry Dickson said banks which have received detailed financial information on Ameritrust - he speculated more than four such packets have gone out - soon will tell the bank holding company roughly what price they'd be willing to pay.

Those offers will be subject to due diligence, to be done inside Ameritrust by those potential buyers Ameritrust selects as the most-serious bidd
