Dec. 19-- Dec. 26 could be called National Exchange Your Gifts Day, which means lots of people will be working, especially in retail. But many offices will be closed, giving employees a nice long weekend.

State employees will have the day off. People in many offices plan to enjoy the extra time with their families -- whether at home or at a mall.
