More

Everybody had an opinion on the Hummer, and like it or not, there’s still a strong market for the brand, and that market demands a big, rugged vehicle.  A hummer has to be able to drive down a mountainside, even if its owners never leave the city.  With the weight required for a truck to be able to do what a Hummer does, it will never be able to be powered by electricity.  Nonetheless, GM realizes that there’s a green revolution going on, and that the Hummer brand is a frequent target of environmentalists.  The company is apparently considering redefining the brand as a line of green SUVs so they’re expected to have all models available to be run on bio-fuels by 2010.
