Catalytic Solutions Inc. in Oxnard says that it has developed, in conjunction with Honda, a new emission control system that will greatly reduce the cost of making catalytic converters for automobiles. Honda Motor Co.Ltd. holds a 10% interest in privately owned CSI.

Catalytic converters turn nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide and other pollutants into carbon dioxide and other gases that are not as polluting.
