CNN Headline News, July 26, 2001, 6:30 a.m.: Honda demonstrates a hydrogen fuel cell car that the company says will roll out within the next couple years. Honda also displays its version of a hydrogen-fueling facility. Similar facilities will be up and running when the cars are introduced, a company spokesman says.

In the race to launch the hydrogen economy, Honda is out in front, at least at the start of the race. Other auto manufacturers are close behind.
