Manhattan Scientifics sells Asian licensee.(INVESTMENTS)

In the long term, Manhattan Scientifics (127 Eastgate Industrial Park, Los Alamos, NM 87544; Tel: 505/662-0660; Fax: 505/662-0665; Web: www.mhtx.com)is looking to the Far East electric scooters and bicycle market for its fuel cell engines, but in the short term, has sold its equity interest in a Singapore-based licensee for nearly $900,000. According to Manhattan Scientifics COO Jack Harrod, the company intends to use the sale proceeds to retire a significant portion of its debt.
