For the electric and hybrid electric vehicle market, Amulaire makes liquid-cooled cold plates that help combat the increasing amount of heat generated by electric motor drives and the growing number of electronic devices that are designed into today's vehicles. Specifically, Amulaire makes cold plates for power semiconductors, such as insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs), responsible for switching electrical to mechanical power, and vice versa, in the electric vehicles' motor drives.
