Rubber Technology International, Inc. (OTCBB:RTEK) announced today the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with Equi-tread of British Columbia. Rubber Technology International will be the sole authorized

manufacturer and distributor of Equi-tread brand horse arena footing material in California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah.

Equi-tread is a resilient, safe and environmentally friendly arena surface used by Olympic and World Champion riders across North America. The cushioning effect of Equi-tread's arena surface material is derived from crumb rubber made from recycled tires.

Trevor Webb, the Executive VP of Marketing for RTI, announced that the three-year deal will provide Rubber Technology International with an excellent, year-round market for its 1/8" crumb rubber production. Pam Jorgensen of Equi-tread, through her extensive database of customers and arenas in the southwestern United States, is now well positioned to be able to fulfill the demand in this region since forming the alliance with Rubber Technology International.
