Dec. 5--FARGO, N.D. -- It was billed as a "summit" to find out how to "fix" the market for E85 market.
But it turned into a discussion about whether E85 is the goal at all, but a surprising sense of emergency on how to make ethanol demand square up with burgeoning state and national supply.
Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., announced Nov. 24 that a summit would be held Nov. 27 to discuss the issue for about two hours, before heading off to another meeting.
Dorgan started by describing a "disconnect" between the number of
